Bhai Sahib Ragbir Singh Bir (1896-1974) was a spiritualist, social reformer, and author, best known for his writings on spirituality and morality. He founded the Atam Science Trust and edited its magazine, Atam Science, promoting spiritual and social reform.

In 1957, motivated by his vision to combine education with spiritual and moral values, he donated his life savings to establish a residential school at Dagshai. His aim was to create an institution that nurtured both intellectual and spiritual growth in students.
